But people do not get the actual energy raised in any respect, just breathing and dancing and chanting. Raising the kundalini through kundalini meditation is very rare, that is why a lot of Indians try for decades making sacrifices to improve this energy within them. Some, even starve themselves almost to death, hoping Lord Shiva will require pity on them and improve the energy, which from my perspective is sad, as there is a lot of nonsense written about the energy by individuals who never raised it. There are a great many archetypes inside subconscious mind of the average person, which hold them again, and this creates small self-esteem, and kundalini can certainly help move this attitude out, so that is why raising the kundalini can certainly help some people. . Kundalini Yoga techniques utilize several Yogic methods to arise and nourish the dormant energy that lies coiled at base with the spine of each person. In a Kundalini Yoga class, the students follow a sequence of Yogic techniques that include classic poses, chanting associated with mantras and shlokas, meditation and in addition coordinated pranayama exercises. In the event the Kundalini Shakti energy is actually awakened and nourished, she travels over the spine and through that seven chakras, activating and cleansing each chakra as she ascends to your crown chakra. The powerful energy of the awakened Kundalini energy is thought to benefit the practitioner on many levels; physically, sentimentally and spiritually. Each chakra has a unique particular energetic makeup, pattern and seed mantra. All seven chakras are correlated along with the organs and glands in its general proximity. On top of that, as the Kundalini Shakti travels through each chakra, spiritual powers or siddhis may arise inside student. Powers such as clairvoyance and clairaudience could become readily available to this student. However, enlightened masters over the ages have warned us to never get too caught up inside siddhis, so that the novelty of their total powers do not distract us from the ultimate goal of Our god realization. When practicing Kundalini Meditation, many of the techniques that will be employed during class help to activate, cleanse and equilibrium all seven chakras. One of the main focuses of a Kundalini Yoga class is pranayama (this yogic breathing exercises). The breathing techniques will help to move stagnant energy that's deeply buried up to your surface, in order release the strain and stress that is holding the stagnant energy in position. The breathing exercises are generally complemented by traditional asanas, yoga practice and chanting using mudras, or sacred side positions. A Kundalini Yoga class will follow a very specific line of Yogic techniques. The class will begin with the chanting in the Adi Mantra, followed by pranayama, asanas or kriyas, shavasana, meditation and closing prayers which has a final chanting of this Sat Naam mantra. The kriyas which can be performed during a Kundalini Yoga class are usually done in conjunction with very specific breathing exercises. The coordination of kriyas using pranayama practice creates a synergistic relationship relating to the different systems of the body. Different kriyas are targeted to isolate and work on certain teams of organs, muscles and glands to cleanse and detoxify these. This synergy will, over time, improve the overall functioning of the entire physical and emotional system of an Kundalini Yoga student.
