Veronica Hearst is reputed in the high circles of American society for her role in the humanitarian and charity organizations. Veronica Hearst has got a dynamic personality and she has command over seven different languages. Apart from her involvement in humanitarians and charity organizations she shows her interest in fashion and arts. Her concern for eliminating hunger from American society is genuine and through her selfless efforts in American Hunger Alliance she is putting in a lot of effort. Veronica Hearst has been working with Americans for the Arts (AFTA) organization since 1998. This organization aims to create educational programs and extends opportunities for the affective participation of American in arts. Veronica Hearst has effectively played her role as a chairman of National Awards program for AFTA. She has been serving National Awards program for AFTA since 1998. Her love for arts is visible from her involvement in the National Awards Programs, which within AFTA recognizes the achievements of Americans in the visual or performing arts, philanthropy, arts education corporate giving and advocacy. Besides AFTA, she has been working for the safe guard and renovation of hundreds of places of historical importance. She has been a supporter of new Metropolitan Museum of and has also been a member of the committee of photography for 15 years. The restoration of the Walker Evans Archive at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, is a collection that was considered among the most endangered places in U.S, is also assisted by her. Veronica Hearst has also been contributing to White House Millennium Council. The main objectives of this council are to conserve the history of U.S for the future generations of America by recognizing cultural and scientific contributions which Americans have made in 20th century. Her contributions for the arts will be remembered by the coming generations.
