Scotty Nguyen A life more than interesting Thuan "Scotty" Nguyen was born on octomber 28 1962 in Nha Tang of South Vietnam and managed to become one of the best professional poker players in the world. During the Vietnam War, thousands of American families have offered to adopt children, victims of war. So Scotty arrived in the U.S. in 1976. His first residence was in Chicago, Illinois, where, however, could not accommodate the weather, so he asked to move to another family in Orange County, California. Because of his past in Vietnam and that he had to separate from his family, Scotty became a rebellious teenager. Soon he discovered poker and came to spend more hours playing than at school, which led to his expulsion. At age 20 he went to Las Vegas with two friends. They stopped at Whiskey Pete's on the outskirts and have lost all the money, after which they were expelled because they had no legal age. Then Scotty remained in Las Vegas and was hired as a bus boy at Harrah's. His boss at nicknamed Scotty, because he could not give Thuan. Beginnings in poker When he was finally 21 years, Scotty went to school and dealers and thus opened the appetite for poker winnings. Of course that first lost to hard, it was a real donkey, but what made him extremely popular, and anyone wishing to play with him. But Scotty did not bother failures, slept very quietly. Later he started playing Texas Hold'em and refine, then won a series of tournaments. Play as one who has lost nothing and so began to win. So he left the job and became a professional player, easily won the first million dollars. It is considered a rich man, he took a Chevrolet Corvette Z 28 and one.
