The latest version in the BlackBerry collection, the Bold, has a bigger and better finish than its predecessor, the 8820. It has a silver finish to add to its black cover, giving it a smooth and sleek look compared to the other models from Blackberry. Its curved nature will also add to its awesome finish, giving BlackBerry fans something to smile about - the BlackBerry Bold new. Amongst other innovative features that the BlackBerry Bold has is its high speed internet capability, which conveniently uses 3G. It is a bit weightier than its predecessor, though most people will not notice this difference. Its large dimensions are a plus for the users of BlackBerry as they offer a better view of some of the applications that one may need to use. Text messaging and working with emails will be done faster through this phone than any other phone on the market. The QWERTY keypad that it has makes it even faster for users to navigate and key in data. The display features are trendier, making use of 65000 color display transmission. Its screen is an LCD, meaning that it is easy to read through, especially in direct sunlight. Its resolution is impeccable, having been upgraded from the previous 240 x 360 to the new 480 x 360 pixel range. The 2 megapixel camera is a good attachment for taking pictures. Though it is not a full range digital camera, it is quite adequate for taking snapshots according to the user’s desire. Its media player is another feature that will give BlackBerry fans something to smile about. The advanced new new BlackBerry 9900 has the capacity to play any kind of video or audio file that the user feels like playing. This support feature makes many people want to own one of these phones. Connecting to a remote computer is quite easy, giving the phone the ability to synchronize files from a computer to the BlackBerry. The phones memory space is nothing to worry about. it has a 1GB internal memory that will make it easy to store quite a large amount of data. There is also a provisional microSD card holder that comes in handy whenever anyone wants to handle further amounts of data. The only disadvantage that people record about the BlackBerry Bold is the battery life that it offers. It happens to be a bit less than that of the 8820. Otherwise, the phone will be all that one needs to enjoy smartphone use.
