Nokia E7 is classy and elegant phone at first glance. The phone has been designed targeting the consumers looking for new and trendy business phone. Nokia E7 is the dedicated business class phone from the Finnish firm. The phone is well designed and equipped with plenty of business oriented features to take on the market of BlackBerry phones. Released in February,2011, the classy and highly functional phone is available in the market through Nokia E7 deals. Nokia E7 shows a sophisticated and serious design with its slider framework. The well build Nokia phone comprises of all the major strength and weakness of the firm. The solid feel of the phone is delivered through anodised aluminum which has been used for configuring the body. The slider in the phone is also not that smooth and is little stiff to move out. But as you use the phone regularly this stiffness will give way. The phone comes on board with the dimensions of 123.7 x 62.4 x 13.6 mm, with thickness of 13.6 grams; it is not your sleek and slim smartphone which are currently available in the market. The weight of the device is 176 grams which is again on the heavier side. But the build of the phone is such that you cannot help but move with it only. The important aspect of any business oriented phone is its keypad. And like all dedicated phone, this also comes equipped with QWERTY keyboard. Nokia has tried its best by placing the keys on the wide panel with spaced out keys. But the keys are little flat in nature which makes it little tough to get your fingers move over the keys fast and smooth. The keypad is big hence you can use both your hands to type in the long messages and mails. Other features of the design include support like HDMI to stream the videos and images from your phone directly to the big screen, 3.5mm jack to give ultimate music experience while you are travelling to keep you entertained and give company all through. Space for the memory card is provided on the sides. Nokia E7 is operating on the Symbian^3 OS, upgradable to Symbian Anna OS which is far less intuitive then that of Android, IOS available in the market. There are three homescreens in the phone but cannot be customised according to your needs as seen in HTC and Apple. Get all your social feed from the sites like Facebook and Twitter with Social Live Widget. There is Nokia Maps and GPS option available in the phone which is a delight for the Nokia users. The simple and easy to integrated Ovi store is also present in the phone. In the end, although Nokia E7 in all is a well built and designed phone. But when it comes to features and functionalities it comes out as very archaic.
