The Blackberry Bold 9900 is supposed to be one hell of a smartphone from RIM. Is it? Let us find out here. RIM has packed the Bold 9900 with the latest from its operating platform, the Blackberry OS version 7.0. And backed this operating software with a really powerful 1.2 Mhz processor. So are so good. But it is in the aspect of the width of the screen that it becomes a totally miserly organization. Now, come on you simply cannot afford to churn out below four inches wide touchscreen toting smartphones in an era where your rivals have already moved on to 4.3 inches gadgets and that too with high definition factor built into them. Really, there is simply no reason, why RIM cannot deliver a four inches sporting Blackberry smartphone today. After all, the company has already time and again demonstrated its inherent ability to deliver high resolution display screens with liquid graphics and what not. Of late, there have been a few smartphones that do have touchscreens with them along with the conventional full QWERTY physical QWERTY. Otherwise, if you look at things closely most Blackberry smartphones are not that behind when it comes to individual aspects like mobile phone internet, E-mailing, instant messaging and even navigation related features. Some improvement has been made on the camera front with five mega pixel cameras regularly beginning to feature in Blackberry phones. Even the number of free downloadable applications is increasing by number with each passing day. You also have more interesting and useful apps coming through from RIM. The media player with its enhanced features like playlists and video recording, etc is also very there with the rest.
