So as the thermometer continues to decline and the days grow ever shorter, it would be a good idea to follow these tips on staying warm on the family boat. -- With the temperatures dipping below 70 degrees, all you should need is a light jacket with jeans and a T-shirt. -- With the temperature dipping below 60 degrees, add a hoodie and thick socks. -- With the temperature dipping below 50 degrees, it’s time to add in a heavy coat and scarf. -- With the temperature dipping below 40 degrees, it’s time to think about buying a wetsuit.
