Good quality Now, let’s start with the obvious. The furniture must go with your taste. If you don’t like the style of their furniture, then it will be hard to like the store itself. Furniture stores have their own distinct style and uniqueness. Find what suits you best, then go on to the next criteria. 2. A knowledgeable “go-to guy”. When you do not know much about furniture, except for the fact that they’re either pretty or not so pretty, then you will need a go-to guy. A go-to guy is someone you can ask (from the store) about where it is made, what material was used, what is the real lowest price, a good color for your house, and the like. But knowledgeable isn’t the only criteria you have to look for in this go-to guy. He or she must also be trustworthy. You need to check if the go-to guy is telling you the truth or simply just sweet talking you into buying furniture from their store. Once you find this go-to guy, it will be a lot easier to buy the furniture that you like. 3. Easy to deal with There are furniture stores that are difficult to make transactions with. You want to find that store that welcomes every customer and values them as well. Here are some things to look for: a. Is interested in making a deal with you. b. Treats you like a VIP and not just some window shopper. c. Tries to give you the best possible deals. d. Will always give you time and attention. Once you find these traits in one furniture store, then you definitely should stick to it. Knowing where to find what you want makes it all convenient for you, rather than going through all the furniture stores in town. And the last trait is: 4. Same taste Find a furniture store that agrees with your taste. It is very difficult to make deals with someone or a store when they want is totally different from what you want. If you want Asian inspired furniture but the store you are eyeing is European inspired, then that store is not for you. Sorry to say but you will never reach a deal that you are both happy with (well of course any store is happy as long as they get paid). But if a furniture store really cares about how your home will look like, the store would not go after making money, but instead, they will find ways to give you good value for your money.
