It is usually associated with qualities of masculinity, heat, hollowness, lightness, dryness and expansiveness. Sickness and physical ailments, such as back pains, can be caused by the blockages of these yin and yang energy from flowing freely in the body’s acupuncture meridians. The only way to alleviate these ailments is through balancing these yin and yang energy to flow freely in the body.
