Charles Phillips Infor is a name that has spread globally especially in the realm of business software developments and all things I.T. world. His name is one of the most sought-after personalities with regards to high-end business strategic campaigns, and for years he has perfected his profession in a vast pool of extensive experience and training. Infor is a corporation that sells ERP Software to a multitude of mid-market companies, it is the considered as the largest franchisee of business software, and it also holds a record of the highest annual revenue among all other corporations in the same area. With 2.2 billion dollars worth of assets, Charles is very thrilled to test his skills and incorporate what he has learned in the industry and apply it to Infor. He is the current Chief Executive Officer of the company, but prior to landing on this point of his career, he was first working for Oracle, a company that also houses the same products as Infor. He was the former Vice President for a year in Oracle, and he was then promoted to becoming its President for seven long years. Charles Phillips Infor resigned from his Oracle post in some time of September of 2009, although he was highly considered as the largest asset of the company, Charles wanted to take his career on a new level. It took literally only 6 weeks for Phillips to move out of Oracle and into Infor. He said on an interview that the key to his success in the field of Information Technology came from his long years in school; he graduated from three different institutions with three different degrees. Charles believed that it was the momentum of his accomplishments in life. With a Diploma in Major in BS Computer Science from the United States Air Force Academy, to an MBA degree from Hampton University and also a JD Degree from the New York Law School, it is no surprise that he has complete knowledge of how the entire system of I.T. works. He was also in the servitude of his country as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps in his earlier years. He received the title of “Charles Phillips Infor” by working his way up the ladder; he has worked for a number of companies initially before he reached the CEO post. His first employment was a Managing Director at the Morgan Stanley Group, and after some time he jumped to working at the Jazz at Lincoln Center and the American Museum of Natural History. The last two employments he had before reaching Oracle was another Directorial position at the Viacom Company, and then he went on to work for various banking institutions in Wall Street.
