Once you've watched a few innings, you really need to check out some of the amazing parks that can be found in the city. A good choice would be the Public Garden, the first of its kind to be built in the US. Established in 1837, this park is home to a lot of unusual and rich plant life, as well as monuments and fountains, a lagoon and the famous swan boats, which have been in operation for over a century. These are the only vessels of their kind in the entire world and, when they take to the Boston waters, they are a sign that spring is on its way.
