Once there, you will find a monument erected on the spot where Bonnie Prince Charlie rallied his troops for the 1745 rebellion. You should also keep your eyes peeled and cameras at the ready for the viaduct at Glenfinnan, which is where the famous Fort William to Mallaig railway can be found - generally acknowledged to be one of the greatest railway journeys in the world.
