Smartphones come in different models such as those incorporating a touch screen, so it is worthwhile to look at the distinct advantages and, indeed, disadvantages of each. This way a customer can assess and identify the potential of each type of device individually and then select exactly the right kind of phone that will satisfy their specific requirements. Having said that any limitations need to be analyzed in an objective way n order for the exercise to be a worthwhile one. Consequently everything here is looked at in an unbiased way with no preference for any particular model or any particular brand of Mobile Phones that are available in the market. One obvious thing to consider if a phone has a bigger screen, this will obviously mean the battery life of this handset is going to be relatively low, and this will continue to be the case until new technology is directly incorporated to counter this. It is worth pointing out that the battery is an essential component of Touch Phones. The original batteries are markedly dearer than those found in ordinary cell phones. Battery cost is also an issue to bear in mind when looking at the BlackBerry. It is again very costly to purchase original components and accessories for these products. As a result a plethora of fake parts are sold worldwide at far cheaper prices in markets and other locations. These parts are actually made and imported from China in bulk quantities, which reduces the manufacturing costs and therefore also the costs involved with shipping en masse to markets in other countries. A few touch screen mobile phones do not possess additional keys which can be a large inconvenience should the device’s system crash. It is impossible to access the main menu following the crashing the whole of the set up and hence the phone can be very unresponsive. Another disadvantage to bear in mind is that when using a touch screen gadget outside then the screen itself can be very difficult to read if conditions are bright or sunny. When sunlight shines on the phone then visibility is very poor. This is a limitation for the majority of touch screen phones. Still, having said all of that and highlighted all of the potential glitches involved with owning and operating one of these handsets it is always worth remembering that touch screen phones are the hottest commodity in the mobile phone market right now and the device of choice for millions of consumers across the globe.
