Have you discussed your bathroom and habits bowel? Most people don't usually, but here at the Wellness Spa on 5th it is one of the most common discussions we have! Are your digestive issues (gas, bloating, constipation) causing you distress and embarrassment? Do certain foods trigger diarrhea? Do you have fewer than one bowel movements per day? Are you bloated after a meal? Do you strain to have a bowel movement? If you answered yes to any of these questions, a colonics session could be what you need. How are colonics in Denver performed at our facility? Filtered water is gently infused into the colon via the rectum. During the session, you lie on a padded table in complete comfort with your modesty protected. We use a small disposable speculum that is gently inserted into the rectum through which warm filtered water passes slowly into the colon. Each colonic session includes several fills and releases of water, as well as light abdominal rubbing to dislodge toxic waste matter adhering to the walls of the colon, which may have been there for months or years! The Wellness Spa on 5th Ave uses a closed system with a water purification system and disposable tubing and speculums to prevent any order and ensure all waste is disposed of discretely into a drain line. After each session, the unit is thoroughly cleansed and disinfected. Our colonic in Denver treatment helps strengthen peristalsis and assists the colon's natural function. Only one colon hydrotherapy session can be equal to having 20 or 30 regular bowel movements. Each session takes only about 40 minutes and 3 session are recommended for maximum benefits. The therapeutic benefits of our colonics are much greater than those achieved with an because our treatment cleanses only the large intestine. Enemas are limited to the rectum area and over-the-counter suppositories stimulate expulsion of the contents of the rectum, but contribute to dehydration which may worsen constipation. Laxatives can also irritate the lining of the colon. In order to stay in good health, some continual diligence is recommended. It's a good idea to schedule one colonic session for each season. These quarterly treatments will allow you to maintain the benefits of your original colonic package and ensure your colon continues to function properly.
