Cable TV was indeed one of the most entertaining sources at home. Don't you guys really know that without cable television, entertainment won't be complete in your home. Although most of us right now are having gadgets like MP3's, iPods, Android tablets, mobile phones and even video game consoles, it is quite clear that neither of them can beat the cable television at home. Almost 99% of the people worldwide are always watching TV at home, rather than spending their time playing computer games. Television sets are designed for all ages, because it gives fun and entertainment to watch movies and TV shows at home. There is no such thing that any gadget can beat cable TV. Let me tell you something about my own experience in home entertainment a few years back. When I was a teenager, I only have a couple of entertainment sources at home. The first one is cable television while the other is Playstation One. I was once addicted in playing games using Playstation One, because it is fun to use. But there's a real problem with this console of mine. The CD lens is not functioning anymore, so I cannot play or use this game console anymore. You know why? Coz' I overused it for most of the summer and played around 4 to 5 hours daily. This game console is not really suitable for all ages. It is mainly used for kids, teenagers and even young adults who still have interests on playing this game. But for baby boomers and senior citizens, they were not likely going to have some interests in playing with game consoles like Playstation One. Instead, they were still having interests to watch movies and television shows with their cable TV. Even senior citizens were still interested to have some fun with cable TV. This is to prove that cable TV is better than gaming consoles. The marketability of cable television was simply universal, and the target customers were endless. But for other gadgets like gaming consoles, it seems that their target market is so limited which their sales cannot surpass the cable television companies. Therefore, I shall conclude that cable television is truly worth for all ages and it's never going to be saturated once and for all. Entertainment is something that all ages need, even senior citizens and baby boomers. If we need something that can give entertainment to all ages, cable TV is the real solution.
