If you intend to have a bachelor or bachelorette party, hiring a minibus is a great idea. Many times people will start a party at one of the bridal party member's home. They will then travel to a bar or club. However, if they have started to drink, it is not a good idea to drive. Hiring a minibus will prevent them from having to drive and the driver will insure that everyone gets safely from one stop to another. Having a driver will insure that the entire party is safe and you can remain worry free. You will need to make several decisions before you actually book the minibus. The first is the number of people that will be attending the party. This will determine the size of bus you will require. The second decision will be where you may be stopping. You will want to find out if you will be charged by the hour or by the number of stops that you will be making. Discuss the option of having the driver drop each of the party attendees off at their homes at the end of the night. You will have a clear mind and conscience knowing that each of them arrived home safely. You will also want to discuss the expense of the bus with your bridal party. If they are hosting the party, they will probably split the expense amongst themselves. If not, you may want to attempt to negotiate a flat fee for the evening. The best way to do this is to use the minibus on a slower night or during a less popular month. The company will be much more willing to negotiate if you host your part during the slow season. Using the same company that is providing transportation for your wedding will also save you money. If you book them for your hen party, bachelor party and wedding, you may be able to negotiate a wonderful package deal. You may also be able to get some perks and incentives thrown in. These could include an extra hour of rental, free non-alcoholic drinks or upgrades of the bridal wedding vehicle. Discuss all of your options with the company's representative. They will be willing to negotiate with you, but you will need to be reasonable and flexible. Discuss your plans with the bridal party, who will help to make the night all you want it to be.
