Of late, there has been a lot of fashion mobile phone flooding the market. Among them, the recent offering from LG with Prada – the LG KE850 deserves a special mention. Prada phone by LG or LG Prada, as it is popularly known, has changed the way people perceive fashion phones. Prior to the launch of LG Prada, there were many other fashion solutions, like L'Amour collection from Nokia, RAZR series from Motorola and Black Label series from LG themselves. However, incorporation of a big brand as Prada with mobile phone was unheard. This collaborative work of LG and Prada, have changed the dynamics of the fashion niche. LG had provided the platform as well as hardware for this stunner while its partner in this venture – Prada took care of its stylish design elements, as well as ringtones, preloaded content and accessories. Design wise, the LG Prada is a simple candy-bar handset with an exceptionally large touch screen. Absence of a regular keypad has made it possible for the handset's designers to accommodate the 3 inch TFT based capacitive touchscreen, that can produce more than 16 million colours. The LG Prada claims a complete sensory control mechanism with wide-screen display – something that is bound to attract many, to this stylish handset. High end designing is not just limited to the phone's casing, but could be seen in its user interface as well. LG Prada's interface is based on Flash, thereby creates an unique experience of using the device. The handset is quite slim at 12 mm and is equally lightweight at 85 grams. However, unlike many fashion phone that are only good to look at, the LG Prada can boast of a feature list that can match any high end business solution. The triband handset has one of the best network reception, providing its user with seamless voice connectivity across the globe. Mobile Internet powered by embedded GPRS and EDGE technology is another high point.
