The cool crisp air, or the snow falling as you say your I do’s - there seems like no such a better time than fall or winter to plan your nuptials to the one you love. Just imagine the fall for a wedding, the lovely vibrant colors that are falling from the trees as a backdrop for your wedding. The grass is also so lush during this time and makes for lovely photos. Also take into consideration that the temperatures start to cool down during this time of year so you guests will be more comfortable with an outside wedding, as long as it isn’t raining. Otherwise a nice indoor reception may have to do but you can still bring that lovely outside in. You can use nicely decorated topiaries as your center pieces and even leaves and moss for your decorations. Consider taking advantage of all those lovely colors and choosing your colors for your wedding accordingly. This is a time for those dark browns, purples, oranges and even reds to highlight your evening. Just remember what the fall means for you, which could be sitting at home and the rain in a blanket - you want to create a warm and cozy reception. Or you may think about the cool breezes and the richness of the land, and then you may want to have an outside wedding/reception. Make it your day. If fall isn’t your thing maybe winter is. Some love the winter scene just because of the crisp white which lays way to a completely blank background. You can bring in elements of ice or crystal to make your day more elegant. You may want to get an ice sculpture to add to your reception or maybe you want to have an outside wedding. Yes it may be cold in December or January, but just think of how lovely it would be - just make sure to warn your guests beforehand. Now let’s talk about colors. Seeing as how you have a blank canvas any color would do but stay away from any colors really bright or dark. You may want to choose a pink, red, soft purple or even black. A black and white wedding always goes well no matter what season. For your centerpieces, you can have a simple floating candle in a vase with crystals on the bottom or you could have a more elaborate centerpiece with a large vase overflowing with beautiful flowers. You may want to take the advice from the autumn wedding and think about what makes you who you are, and choose something that fits. Whether it be giving all your guests snuggies for that outside wedding, or relishing in the inside in a field of crystal and flowers, make it your day!
