Quite often we keep on planning our schedule for a good health. It either ends up with a hectic day or with a changed commitment to start with it from next day. Special occasions provoke us to make some revolutions that we can follow for a healthy lifestyle- these are made and gone... We need to live a healthy life; this not only provides us with good health but a complete serenity of mind too. There is a quiet famous saying “healthy minds dwell in a healthy body”, it means literally. We all have the desire to reach that goal of perfect health but there is a lack of willingness. Willingness generates out of interest. This is the reason why we all think of it to happen but cannot make through. On a routine basis, we should try to make our health schedule more interesting and fun filled, rather than following it like a ritual. This probably can make things happen. We can be more stringent during weekdays when we have enough time for ourselves. “Love and laughter” is the prime key to good health. We can always start our day with lots of love and warmness from our beloved. This warm exchange itself gives strength to tackle all odds throughout the day. This really helped me many a times – whenever i used to be a bit tensed for the work schedule of the day- the mere thought of my GOD and my loved ones, those who always bestowed me with their blessings and love gave me instant strength. When we think positively and brings a smile on our face this induces some happy hormones to release in our body and make things still better. After getting up in the morning we can follow few simple yoga namely kapalbhati, yoomviloom, to name a few. These yogasanas helps us to build oxygen capacity in our body and helps releases toxins, hence revitalises some of our vital organs. An early morning walk is the best physical exercise one can have on daily basis. Walking involves all vital organs of our body and recharges most of the important physiological activities in our body. We can have some antioxidant drinks in empty stomach. Empty stomach enhances absorption. Antioxidant drink like amla juice, wheatgrass juice detoxifies our system. We can always start our day with heavy but low oil breakfast, which can be accompanied by fruits, eggs, milk. Skipping meal should be completely avoided. It basically damages our digestive capacity. So no matter how busy we are, we should not skip our lunch. Dinners can be made lighter. Avoid less easily digestible stuffs like fruits, oily food during dinner. At the end, nothing is as enjoyable and fun filled as having a chitchat and laughter session with family and friends before retiring for bed, so even while we are sleeping we can still dream of our happy moments only.
