For many experienced scuba divers, an island getaway is the perfect holiday. In addition to enjoying the beautiful beaches on the island, they can also perform scuba diving in one of the beaches in the island. In fact people who have previously performed scuba diving will prefer to go to an island for a holiday trip, even if their partners have some different ideas. Some of the islands in the Far East Pacific Coast, such as those present along Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia are really some of the best places in the world for scuba divers to enjoy their holiday. People who have done some scuba diving before and want a refresher course in scuba diving can certainly find these. They should have the necessary scuba diving qualification certificate with them and this certification should be from a government authorized institution. But those who don't have a certificate and want to learn scuba diving on an island, then this may not always be possible. As most of the recognized courses lasts for 4 to 6 weeks, it may not be able to learn full-scale scuba diving at a holiday destination. If the person has taken a lengthy break from work and is planning to go on a 3-month holiday, then it might be possible for them. Alternatively, there are shorter courses that would allow a diver to use simpler equipment and be under more personal supervision. While starting out on a scuba diving expedition, the person should make sure that the entire body suit and the oxygen mask and other related accessories are packed well in advance. When leaving, they can cross-check whether all the equipment is in place and neatly packed. When the scuba diving equipment is being transported, care should be taken that it does not get damaged during transit. As scuba diving equipment is expensive, at the island where they are holidaying they need to stay in a hotel where the safety of these equipments is ensured properly. It will almost always be possible for a person to take a refresher course at their island destination. There will be many state authorized scuba diving centers offering refresher courses. After the course, the person will be more confident in performing scuba diving and will greatly enjoy the experience. Without taking a refresher course, the person might start doubting his/her abilities, and not be so confident in the water. Scuba Skool offer divemaster training and diving holidays
