Nowadays parents have started planning way ahead for the arrival of their newborn, and most have already started shopping for their baby when the delivery date is a good 3 months away. In order to welcome their baby, they have already started painting the walls of the room where the baby is going to spend most of his/her initial days. In addition to painting the room, the parents have to also plan the necessary nursery furniture for the baby. This purchase can be done after the baby has been born, but why wait? There are many items that are essential nursery furniture for the baby. But the one that comes to people's mind first is the crib. Crib comes in different shapes and forms and in various attractive colors. There are different ways of buying the crib. One could physically visit the various stores in the local neighborhood and find the one that best suits them. Other way is to sit at home and browse on the internet, finally placing an order for a crib that they find attractive. By ordering through the internet both the father and the mother can view all the designs and then choose which satisfies both the parents. The mother may not be able to go out shopping for some days after giving birth to the child. Cribs have really undergone sea changes over the years and now portable and foldable cribs are also available. Foldable cribs can be used a crib as well as a baby bed. As the baby needs a lot of clothing and diapers during the first few months, the family needs to have a multi-story bassinet to store all the baby clothing and diapers. A rocking chair is another item that the parents can buy for their baby. The young child will really love the rocking movements of the chair. When buying, parents should see that there are no sharp edges protruding in the chair that may harm the baby. This also applies to all the nursery furniture where the baby is going to lie down. A baby carrier is another accessory that the parents should have. When the parents have to travel for some unavoidable reasons, they have to take their baby with them.
