Previously people have to stick with same type of light and color they were bound to use bulbs, tube lights and after the invention of CFL they got other option also but it was not so efficient. But LED lights had fulfilled all the desire of the consumer with respect to light. These lights have several advantages to attract the consumer – • They are highly efficient because they make maximum use of energy what they consume and hence produces lighter them any incandescent bulb. • They are coming in various color and sizes. • LED are water resistance • A led has hrs 50,000 to hrs 1, 00,000 life span but bulb has only hrs 1000. • It lights up very fast as compare tube lights. • LED lights are shock resistance and safe to use. • Unlike bulb and tube lights LED damage less by the external shocks. • Most source of light contains mercury and emits heat like in bulb but LED did not have the mercury in them and its lights do not emit heat. Now these were the some positive points for the LED lights as every coin as two faces same wise these LED also haves some of the negative points in them which is the most important thing for all of us and that is “money”. LED lights can hammer your pocket they are expensive then any other source of light. It is just because they are highly durable and consume less power then other source and are efficient that’s way they can be expensive for one time only but will be beneficial for life time. But once you purchase you are relax for longer duration. LED lights are now been used in decorating your homes, it is because they are easy to handle and have many color. Previously you were not having option of LED lights in ceilings lights but now you can have various stylish and beautiful LED ceiling lights.
