Box is a name of an item which is ideal for a number of uses, ranging from household to industrial purposes. The utility of this item can not be measured until and unless you use it. These boxes come in a number of types and sizes and known by different names across the globe. But these variations in specified factors depend largely on the usage of these boxes. The most common form of boxes which is used all over the world is Cardboard box. This type of box can be used in both domestic as well as commercial purposes. In both the fields it is considered as of great utility. These boxes are known as cardboard boxes because they are considered to be made up of cardboard only. But technically the fact is they are not really made of cardboard, it contains corrugated fiberboard. Going through the history, the first commercial cardboard box was produced in year 1817, in England. The commercial revolution in the usage of cardboard boxes comes when Kelloggs started using them for their flaked cereals. With this the way to commercial use of these boxes opened. With the time these boxes got lot of opportunities in commercial world and they proved their utility very early. Now the boxes are considered as backbone of any industry for shipping of there products anywhere in the world. These boxes are basically considered as great packing containers which are used by most of the industries for shipping or moving their bulk items from one place to another. Many of the items within supermarkets and department stores are shipped safely to the store in these boxes only and many times the products are displayed in these boxes. These boxes are very handy while packing and moving. As we have seen early that they have multiple uses, they are not only used for packing and moving only, but they are also ideal for storage purposes. The use of these boxes can be done in an innovative way also. If you have a creative mind and can mould things accordingly, then there is a chance that you will make a great thing out of this cardboard box. For example, you can decorate it with patchwork or other design material and use it for storing many household things such as, old newspapers, magazines, children's books, toys and many more. By this we can see a number of uses of boxes at domestic level also. The range of verities and types of the boxes is vast. For example, there is medium storage box, small storage box, large storage box, cube storage box, archive box, CD and DVD storage box, storage trays, per carrier boxes, cardboard bottle boxes, and wardrobe storage box. These are just few and common names of boxes that are used for domestic purpose in every day life of an individual. The most important thing to note about these boxes is that it can be recycled. This fact proves its utility while making a cardboard box through recycling. In this process firstly the particular box is broken down and then the complete procedure is followed that is first used to make the box. The entire recycling process also helps the manufacturer to save on cost as the entire process of making pulp and Kraft paper is thus not required. So, in the end one can say that the boxes are of great utility for everyone. And the utility cannot be measured without using them.
