3. Restrict your dietary intake. To lose weight in one week, eliminate all white-colored foods and flours from your diet. Refrain from eating crackers, cookies and breads to decrease your carbohydrate intake. Keep your blood-sugar levels stable with good fats, good carbs and 3 to four servings of fruits and vegetables a day.

4. The best way to go if you want to lose weight is to eat foods that can burn fat fast. Most of these are low carb diets that give you more energy and less fat. Fruits and vegetables are the best sources of fat burners in this case. Apples, tomatoes, spinach and carrots are examples of these foods. They each have their own distinct way of burning fat, but one thing that they have in common is that they're all fibrous foods that help in your digestive process.

5. Muscle Building: Strength training is one of the best ways to lose weight as it assists the process of muscle building. Muscle building requires calories and therefore, the more muscle you build, the more calories you burn and the more weight you lose!

6. Vegetables like the cauliflower, cabbage, carrots and lettuce are slimming foods and including them in your daily meal will not only make it delicious but will also ensure that you lose weight fast. Eat to lose, should be the mantra.
