If you are determined to burn the unwanted calories, enhance your muscle tone, lose fat, shed excess weight, improve cardiovascular function, stretch physical endurance, lower your stress levels, increase your stamina and attain overall physical fitness then you should opt for boot camp vacation without wasting any further time.

Please know boot camp vacations are specially designed to help you quickly reach your physical fitness goals and you can choose the course of appropriate intensity - but remember it will still be demanding and you will be pushed around. There is no easy route to weight loss and physical fitness and all boot camp trainers are strict disciplinarians who will brook no nonsense. But you will not have to worry about someone embarrassing or teasing you as you will undertake the workout in the company of peers – all of whom have one goal to shed weight, burn calories and acquire a trim figure. After some initial resentment, you will feel motivated, begin to enjoy the programs and start seeing results.

If you join a reputed and reliable fitness camp, you can rest assured that the workouts will be scientifically structured and include cardiovascular exercises, endurance testing, plyometrics, strength training, muscle toning with dumbbells and kettle bells, military type calisthenics and more. But be aware that boot camp fitness training is not for persons who are easy-going and indolent but for those who are determined to give their all to attain the set fitness goals within a time frame.

At fitness boot camp you encounter fellow-participants of different body shapes, physical weights, ages and fitness levels - all struggling towards a common goal of improving physical fitness levels. In fact, there may be a healthy competition amongst all participants and each vying with the other to obtain better results faster.

There is a strange bond that develops whenever you do workouts with other participants and it is comforting to know you are not the only one with an uncouth figure struggling to attain the right physical frame.

The workout for the first two to three weeks will be tough-going till you understand your trainer’s expectations and adjust to the routine. Almost all boot camps work on a tight schedule and within the first week of your workout (accompanied by a balanced diet plan), you can expect to see some convincing results - such as enhanced muscle tone, weight loss, increased physical agility, faster metabolism and above all, a sense of fulfillment.

A lot of people enroll into gyms with the prime focus of getting a toned body and achieving physical fitness but many of them drop out either due to time constraints or lack of will or absence of enforced discipline. Such of these people should enroll in fitness boot camps where the programs are typically designed for individuals who have not been successful at the gym and are ready for doing something different.

The best feature of fitness boot camp is the fact that you have a personal trainer supervising your workouts and offering you an individualized program. Once you leave the boot camp, you can continue the workouts at your home either alone or with a couple of friends. No equipment will be necessary and the post-camp exercises will be more aimed at sustaining the levels of physical fitness you achieved at the boot camps
