If you are looking for a way to give your pupils a firsthand glimpse of how WWI and WWII shaped modern Europe, a multi-centre battlefield tour could be well worth considering. Next, travel onwards to Prague, which offers its own unique perspective on WWII. Its rich Jewish history - including the Jewish Ghetto - remains strikingly well-preserved and your pupils will be able to see how the European conflict affected this fascinating city. Finally, end your journey in Poland with a visit to Krakow. Here, your pupils can see the city made famous by films such as Schindler's List and experience a powerful and moving visit to Auschwitz, the most infamous Nazi concentration camp.
