One of the equipments you should definitely consider for your lab is the digital microscope. A Digital Microscope can functions beyond the regular biological microscope. The best part about the digital microscope is that it can provide digital convenience for sharing and storing data and moreover it will enhance your laboratory viewing experience. Apart from that, microscope has a well built-in digital camera that can be connected with TV, PC or even printer. So you can see the images on computer or TV screen in a much refined way. You can face various common problems with some microscopes like encountering the mosaic phenomenon but high resolution microscope or 1.3 MP can avoid this problem. There are some stores, in which you can ask for some more digital functions in your microscope like fringe swell, color saturation, high level image control-contrast, and gamma numerical value which impacts on the luminance and brightness of the image. The plus factor of digital microscope is that you can store the data in it from the hard drive of your PC and can also share the information in lectures and demos with large groups. Another type of microscope is the stereo microscope. There are some people which face trouble in keeping their one eye close while seeing through a microscope. Well, if you use stereo microscope, there is no such problem. This type of microscope has two eyepieces. This enables the user for greater depth perception and to see the objects in 3D i.e. three dimension. Most of the stereo microscopes have a feature of zoom lens which further adds in the uniqueness of stereo microscope. The two eyepieces enable the viewer to keep both their eyes wide open. Moreover, these microscopes have rubber eye guards which make the experience more user-friendly. These days, mercury lamps are in great demand. But it should be remembered that mercury is not good for human health. The vapors of mercury are extremely toxic. Mercury can cause great risk to health such as kidney damage, central nervous system damage, brain damage and respiratory tract damage. Thus, it is advised to restrict the use of mercury lamp to as far as possible.
