With the television frequencies being ruled by the reality TV fad, we are continuously seeking shows that are morally appropriate and intellectually meaningful. Through all of the titles on the TV guide channel, we can find one—Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) episodes. NCIS episode are centered to Special Agent Jethro Gibbs, a well-trained investigator and interrogator who is sharp, strong, and willing to bend the rules to get the job done. Working under Gibbs is Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo, a previous homicide detective who joined NCIS just little years back, but has senses of a seasoned veteran NCIS agent. These instincts paired with a constant street smart approach allows a deep and knowledgeable character to develop in every episode. Joining, they are Agents Caitlin Todd, a strong former Secret Service agent who has gone head-to-head with Gibbs in the past, and forensics specialist Abby, an exceptional scientist whose humor matches her Goth-style hair and clothes. Supporting the team is medical examiner Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard, who knows it all because he has seen it all. From murder and surveillance to terrorism and stolen submarines, these special agents travel the globe to examine all crimes with Navy or Marine Corps ties. NCIS episodes provide depth of characters with intellectually stimulating plots that keep audience on the rim of their seats and their thinking processes engaged. We can define character as with emotional commitment to the depiction of all human passion. When an actor is vulnerable, they will be able to effectively communicate their emotions and react to the stimulus given by other actors they are sharing a set with. This free will to communicate and react gives an attractive palate of available emotional connection between actors. For example, the forensics specialist Abby reacts and responds very differently to different characters based on the stimuli they give her. In Abby's dealings with Gibbs, she is nice, amorous, and knowledgeable. This is in response to Gibbs' appreciation for her and the fact that he is her boss. The relationship of superior to worker also furthers a relationship to that of a father and daughter. Although Abby's character is one of gentleness for most, she is very closed off to the abrasive exterior of Special Agent DiNozzo. DiNozzo used up lots of years learning street smarts by taking part in police work in the law enforcement field. He displays a tough outer shell that does not allow characters to see the real person behind the exterior. There is a strong need for an arena for these characters to interact with one another because of the strong character development. As the characters of this drama interweave, their persona for the furtherance of the NCIS department there should be an intellectually stimulating platform in which to stand. This is where anticipation and exciting investigation processes come into effect. Each episode offers a voyage for the NCIS agents to triumph over during the investigation of crimes. Some of the features that provide intellectual stimulation during the course of the investigation process include forensic study, autopsy and progressive technology. The superiority of NCIS episodes are illustrated and described by the uphill struggle of endowed cast and writers that move forward the limits of ordinary thoughts to put on view intellectually stimulating stories.
