Through EHR, researchers also have a huge amount of data they can use for their studies. Through the information compiled by the EHR, the collection of knowledge for medical purposes becomes easier. Of course, this benefit can only be realized when all ehr software becomes widespread and interoperable. Another advantage of using ehr software is that patients can get medical attention anywhere. For example, a businessman who travels alone no longer have to worry about medical errors because physicians can pull his records through the EHR and get information about the medications he has received (or is currently taking), his allergies and the different diseases he was diagnosed with.
