President Barack Obama will hold comprehensive talks with top Silicon Valley officials at San Francisco, on Thursday. These top officials include Apple CEO Steve Jobs, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, and Google CEO Eric Schmidt, confirmed White House. White House reports said, “The President and the business leaders will discuss our shared goal of promoting American innovation, and discuss his commitment to new investments in research and development, education and clean energy,” Top executives and CEOs of Yahoo, Cisco, Twitter, NetFlix, Oracle, The Westly Group, and Standford University would also be present there, said White House official. Core of the meeting with officials Sources confirmed that all top tech executives will come together to initiate a wide ranging discussions on tech agenda and proposed White House budget worth $3.73 trillion, by fiscal year 2012. Discussions on new job creation plans and stimulating growth by generating fresh demands will also dominate discussions, say analysts. Zuckerberg, Schmidt, along with his Silicon Valley comrades, are keen on new internet freedom policies announced by the government. As new internet freedom would break communication barriers, ensuring that people worldwide don’t risk freedom in the hands of few autocratic leaders. Talks on making U.S. technology hacker-proof and more efficient, in the wake of the recent 'Anonymous' episode, would also be discussed. Apple’s Steve Jobs was granted a leave on medical grounds, last month. But, his assurance to this meeting has drawn attentions from business community. In the meanwhile, the President and Intel CEO Paul Otellini are also expected to visit an under construction site of a semiconductor plant, which is going to be the world’s most advanced chip-fabrication facility, at Hillsboro, Ore.
