From the day running down before the official launch of the Verizon network 4G LTE, tariff plans and details have just been announced publicly. Dec. 5, when the 4G LTE goes live, will be available in 38 markets, and an additional 60 locations to the airport, and, at an estimated combined coverage area of approximately 110 million people this year. Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam said the plans to meet twice in 2012, and to cover existing 3G LTE 4G to the end of 2013. Below is a map where the 4G LTE coverage will be available on the market.
As for the pricing to start two USB modems will be available for sale cost $99 after $50 rebate and two-year contract as always. Customers will have the option of two different data plans, $50 per 5 GB, or $80 for 10 GB. All data used in excess of the plan will lead to $10 per gigabyte overages . 4G LTE(Long Term Evolution) is said to provide speeds 10 times faster than the speed of 3G, so depending on individual needs, may be worth the price of network capacity deals. As for the handset unit operates on the 4G network, Verizon is going to introduce something early next year.
