Making the decision to marry is quite a big task and so is everything that comes with it. There are of course several things to think about when planning a wedding, there’s the venue for the wedding celebration itself, then there’s the reception location. The food and catering service also has to be chosen and even the meals have to be properly organized beforehand. There are also some of the little details that have to be taken into account, little details that give a huge impact for the couple and planners and these are the wedding invitations or the wedding cards. Invitation only Wedding cards are more of a statement for the couple to leave to their guests long before the wedding day itself. Wedding invitations have a whole lot of detail that have to be taken into consideration in themselves, little details like the shape, size, fonts and even texture for the wedding cards should be taken into consideration. Starting with the shape, it is important for the wedding cards to be shaped and even sized accordingly. If you’re going for a more elegant theme or style as more traditional weddings are, you might want to go for a more regular sized approach for wedding invitations, sort of medium and may also be folded and or layered wedding cards. The paper size usually would be around A4 or even a little less to give it just an enough size to be presentable but not overpowering. Aesthetic appearance Speaking of appearances, you also must pay attention to the fonts being used in your wedding cards as they play a very vital role in the overall presentation as well. Fonts set the mood for the wedding invitations and in effect the whole wedding. Little details like how the fonts flow on the wedding cards and some even have the fonts embossed. The positioning of the writing should also be important as the aesthetic value of the card also can be found in the positioning of the paragraphs and their respective locations in and around the wedding invitations. Making sure that everything is aesthetically pleasant and of course matching for the wedding cards is usually the job of the designer and or the wedding planners, but it does help to have decisions made by the couple as this adds to a sense of love in the creation and this is what it’s all about.
