The Best Way To Pick Up Girls At Bars - Advanced Pickup Secrets

Advice,Dating,Relationships
Bars are some of the best environments to pick up women. Picking up girls in bars is easy if you know how to approach them the right way. Keep in mind that hot girls get approached by men constantly at bars, so you've got to make an original approach that distinguishes you from all the others. (My book "Mack Tactics" contains an entire chapter on approach tactics, and gives you clever & wickedly effective openers to use in virtually any situation.).

With that said, here are some tips on how to pick up girls at bars:

1. Before leaving your house, you need to make sure that you look great. You don't have to be an Adonis to get girls' attention, but you still need to look presentable. First impressions are important, after all. Wear nice clothes, brush your teeth, comb your hair, etc. Make sure that you wear good cologne and not the cheap kind if you want to pick up girls at bars.

2. You need to act confident if you want to be noticed. If you are naturally a shy, nervous guy, you'll need to fake this confidence until you start achieving some success (which is how you develop REAL confidence with women). Body language is extremely important; don't slouch, and keep your head held high. Make eye contact with women. Don't only try to interact with the hot girls you want to hook up with; start friendly interactions with other women as you "warm up" and get a feel for the crowd. A lot of other guys in the bar will probably be nervous too, although some are better than hiding it than others. Those who at least try to fake their confidence will be able to pick up girls at bars better than those who let their nervousness get the best of them.

3. You're going to have to learn how to approach women if you're going to successfully pick up girls when you go out. Unless you're lucky and they approach you first, you are going to have to overcome your shyness and go up to them. Don't only try to target women who are alone; usually, women go out in groups, and approaching groups of women is not big deal when you've got some solid techniques. Smile, deliver your opener, and then transition into your first topic of conversation (when you use "Mack Tactics," the process should be a seamless flow). If she (or the group) is not receptive, don't try to force it. Just move on to another prospect. And stop worrying about being "rejected," would you? Tell yourself that there are two types of women in this bar tonight: FUN and BORING. The fun girls will want to talk to you, because you're a fun guy; the boring girls won't want to, but they're boring anyway so who cares. When you're out at bars to pick up girls, this attitude is important to have. And when approaching girls who are in a group, be equally charming to all of them. Even if there's only one you're interested in, you should still be nice to her friends.

4. My next piece of advice: stay positive during the conversation. She should associate you with FUN and POSITIVITY, not negativity or boring/depressing topics (such as talking to her about your exes, breakups, etc. Remember, she didn't spend two hours earlier tonight doing her hair and makeup, and selecting her outfit, so that she could out to a bar and be be bored and depressed. She came here tonight to have fun. If you can provide her with that, she'll want to hang out with you.

5. When your mission is to pick up girls, you can't be overly loud or aggressive (especially towards other guys, even if you view them as "the competition". It's cool to enjoy yourself and be energetic, but don't be the "spaz" who gets on people's nerves (or even worse, the drunk guy who can't handle his alcohol). I know that for a lot of guys, imbibing some "liquid courage" helps them to loosen up and feel more comfortable when picking up women. But when it comes to picking up girls in bars, you shouldn't let yourself become too drunk.

6. Observe and pay attention to the environment at all times. Make it a habit to watch how girls behave in bars -- when they're socializing with their friends, and when they get approached by random men. When you identify a target (a girl you want to approach), don't rush in and approach the girl right away; spend a few minutes observing her and her body language. I came up with some of my best conversational material by listening in on other conversations! I've heard guys use clever openers which I then borrowed, and I've also seen guys make a ton of MISTAKES which I then know to avoid making myself.. So, slow down your pace and don't worry about "making your move" the moment you see an attractive girl. Think like a chess-player and always have your next several moves plotted out in your mind. Picking up girls requires some patience on your part.

The next time you go out to have some fun and pick up girls, keep these principles in mind. Now, if you're ready to learn the EXACT openers that I use to "break the ice" with hot girls and start conversations, click here and download this free guide:
