Do all material can be used to make the electric kettles? No!! There are many factors should be take into consideration while choosing the material to make electric kettles. The materials used in the production of kettles have to retain certain physical properties in the past, present and future. First,the material has to contain water without the water escaping through crevices and cracks yet strong enough so that the water pressure does not buckle the container. If you use a wood to make the kettle containter, on one hand, the water will escape from it; on the other hand, the wood container may burn. If it is made of metal for example glass, plastic and stainless steel, the water can not escape from the container. Second,it must be able to withstand temperatures of over 100[degrees]C, the temperature at which water boils, as well as the heat from the source such as the fire or electrical element, this is true for the spout too. The glass , plastic and stainless steel electric kettle can avoid the water escaping from the containers, but can they stand the temperatures of over 100 degrees? The plastic electric kettle should avoid from fire, and the water will have a plastic smell if it is boiled too long in the plastic container. And the glass kettle may also rupture if it is boiled too long in the fire or electrical element. However, the kettle made of metal will not have these problems. So the metal for example stainless steel is the best material used to make the container of kettles. Aside from the container, there are other parts of electric kettle. we know that the kettle has a handle to aid the pouring action, which also acts as insulation from the main body of water, in some kettles the handle was produced from a second material to give additional insulation. The handle will be hot and burn your hands if it is also made of stainless steel. So the handle should be made of the material which can give additional insulation. The plastic is an excellent choice to meet this need. From the words above, we know that the different parts of the electric kettle use different materials. For example, use the stainless steel to make containers and plastic to make the surface of the handle and it is no need to consider which material is best to make the cord of Cordless Electric Kettle.
