Condominiums in the Philippines There are currently two types of condo in Philippines, these are the typical condominiums found in the city, and condominium complexes which are found mostly in the outskirts or even in provinces. Both types of condominiums can offer different advantages for its residents. Condominiums in the City According to real estate experts in the Philippines, the first types of condominiums are found near or within business and commercial districts. Built mostly as high-rising buildings, these types of condominiums can offer their residents the luxury of living within walking distance or mass transit distance from their workplaces, allowing them to avoid the usual hassles of rush hour. Although found in some of the busiest districts in the Philippines, these types of housings can still offer the privacy, peace, and relaxation that many Filipinos are looking for in a home. The disadvantage of these types of housings is that it lacks the necessary environment for a growing Filipino family, particularly for a growing child. This is the reason why condominium complexes were established around Metro Manila. Condominiums in the Provinces Condominium complexes are mostly found in the outskirts or even in the provinces, such as in Tagaytay. These types of condo in Philippines can offer their residents the peace and comfort rarely found in the city. Its environment also makes it a very suitable housing for a growing Filipino family, particularly its wide open spaces and secured compound. Like other condominiums in the city, condominium complexes are also known to offer amenities such as swimming pools, gyms, and a sports complex. However, what made condominium complexes more family-oriented is because of their own parks and playgrounds within its own complex. The disadvantage of condominium complexes is its location, which is too far from the city. This makes it harder for its residents to get back to their workplaces, particularly because of rush hour.
