Ultrasonic cleaners are very much in demand in the market these days. Everyone is smitten by the fact that these cleaners are so effective and provide spotless cleansing action towards all the objects. However, it is not true to say that there are absolutely no flaws when cleaning metal parts in an ultrasonic cleaner. There could be some problems observed when trying to clean metal parts, which have a detail design and pattern. In such items, the cleansing action fails to wash off stains or dirt in blind holes or between internal threads. Nevertheless, with sufficient knowledge and proper approach, even these tricky locations on metal parts could be easily cleaned. When there are small blind holes in the metal article, there is a good chance that these holes entrap air when the surface of the article is placed vertically, with respect to the hole, into the ultrasonic cleaning tank. The air pockets will create a problem with the cleaning process and thereby leave these blind spots dirty as before. In order to take care of this issue, it is advised to submerge the item in a horizontal position. It would be better, if you could rotate the object to facilitate a thorough cleaning of metal parts. If the article is too small in size, yet the designs on it are complex, then jiggle or wobble the basket after submerging. When cleaning metal parts, it is also significant to not pile up the articles, one on another, and hinder the cleansing action. When three or more objects get placed or stacked up, the lowermost article will receive more sound vibration or sonic waves and that particular metal part gets cleaned commendably. Conversely, the topmost objects will receive less sonic waves, which results in incomplete cleaning of metal parts. It is necessary that every object submerged in the tank receive equal amount of energy, hence arrange the objects in such a way that the denser item remains above, while the less dense objects are placed neatly at the bottom of the tank. If there are too many items to be cleaned, then arrange the items in order and divide the metal parts cleaning process into batches. This way, cleaning metal parts will become easier and more effective. Even burnt carbon coats could be removed by placing the piece properly into the tank. You must know that an ultrasonic cleaner does not wash-off the dirt vigorously off the object’s surface. The dirt will be softly pushed above the surface of the entity and then there is a good chance that the particles of dirt would sink down again, due to gravity, onto the surface of the object. Such problems can be easily checked if the dirt settles back on the outer surface, but if this occurs inside those small blind holes, it is necessary to oscillate the metal parts on removing them from the cleaning tank. If there are too many holes or internal threading in the object design, repeat the oscillations until you flush out the loose contaminants. Parts cleaning doesn’t have to be tedious or expensive any more. Get the latest ultrasonic cleaners and make it simple.
