The glossy discounted photo paper has high gloss finishing which gives the photos the look and feel of true imaging or real time traditional photos. It also has a bright white color paper which is heavy in weight and ideal for everyday photo printing be it at home or at the office. You could also use this paper for reprinting. The glossy paper is perfect if you love to print out pictures of your family and hang them on the wall. And have we told you that this kind of photo paper is also highly water resistant sheets. We can also assure you that the prints taken out on glossy sheets last for a long period of time and it is sure to work with all inkjet printers. Another kind of discounted photo paper is the semi-gloss. As the name itself connotes, this kind of discounted photo paper is less glossy than the glossy kind but it is a lot glossier than the matte one. Anything printed on this kind of photo paper would dry faster and its print-outs are also fingerprint resistant. Semi-gloss discounted photo paper is available in sheets and rolls. It is perfect for displays and scenic color images. However, lamination is not recommended for this kind of discounted photo paper. It is better if you would just store it in a photo album to prolong its life as a print out. The semi-gloss photo paper gives you the feel of real photographic media. It is the best kind of paper where you can print beautiful landscape and other colorful images. Although this kind of paper is known to be water resistant and could withstand any contact with water, you should not submerge the photo in water.
