Take a beginners course to learn basic kite surfing safety. Be safe rather than sorry - this especially true for those who are beginners to novice kite surfers. First thing you need to do is to dissolve the chicken loop to ensure its operation. Keep in mind of others safety and be responsible at all times. Being responsible is a major part of this great sport. Attach your ropes, just before you get into the water. Put on the safety line (Leash) before kite's hedge is removed off the ground and take it to the end, when the dragon is secured on the ground after landing. If when there is little wind place a heavy object to weigh down the kite. All objects like trees, hills and buildings have dramatic effect on wind; keep this in mind at all times. Even when you unconscious the dead man's safety system will kick in automatically to shut down the power from the kite.Be aware how to detach your from your kite at all times. Avoid kite surfing near to any airport. Avoid kite surfing before, during or after stormy weather. Kite cords can be cut with a knife in an emergency. Kite lines can be lethal if they become tangled around your body. Kite surfing needs to be practiced in unpopulated areas of water and land. Avoid people on the beach when taking off - choose an empty part of the beach . For safety, make sure spectators are windward. Keep an eye for an unoccupied part of the beach at all times. Kitesurfing against the wind from the land as you run towards to the open sea is to be avoided. Whenever you can kite surf where there is a safety boat. Also, be sure you can handle the difficult situations that may arise, such as a broken leg or kits to breakage. Please use the life jacket and helmet. Never use leg harness attached to the board in which this can be very dangerous because it can cause the board hit the back of the head. Do not ask non-kite surfers for help when you land or take off kits. Be clear about your intentions and talk to people before you help and making clear signs. Make sure it will help you or the people around know how to handle equipment safely and how to behave kits. Until you build up experience avoid strong winds. As a beginner, you usually spend more time in water, so use because a thicker wetsuit than you would otherwise have chosen. If possible, choose a harness with handles on the back. This makes it easier to assist each other in difficult situations where the kits have much traction. Keep in mind the distance you kite surf off shore, in case you have to swim back. The kite lines can be cut with a razor in emergency.
