Wise Women Of The Aboriginal Dreamtime is the wonderful title of a collection of stories which have been brought together for your education and enjoyment by acclaimed author Kate Langloh Parker and edited by well known and respected Australian writer Lambert. Kate Parker's life was destined to be a wonderful adventure which inevitably led her through her early childhood, when her life was literally saved by an Australian Aboriginal girl. Her life continued on through the trials and tribulation of growing up on an outback cattle station where she could not help but become life long friends with many wise aboriginal women who generously shared their enchanting dreamtime stories with her which she eloquently translated into the English language and eventually had published. Kate Parker was very particular in every sense about conveying the actual and true account, and the special meaning of each and every one of the much adored aboriginal dreamtime stories that were so generously told to her. In this book there are a total of 14 dreamtime stories which Lambert carefully chose from Kate Parkers collection. Each conveys a particular message of aboriginal ancestral powers, ancient magic, dreamtime animal powers, and stories of healing. These stories provide a magnificent insight into major aboriginal life experiences and traditional aboriginal culture and dreamtime.
