Of course, being an independent card maker, you are most likely to advertise and sell your services through the internet since it is the best medium because it is cheaper and more accessible. This factor could make you the preferred choice for many people, starting from your neighborhood and basically all around the world, someday. Lets just put you in the consumer's shoes. If you were them, which would you prefer having a unique and personalized card delivered directly right to their friend, family or loved-ones doorstep with a few clicks or going through all the hassle of going downtown to the book store and having it mailed in your nearby post-office? Indeed, a cardmaking business is a hit.
