That is exactly what I saw over the last three weeks and I am nothing short of thrilled with what I have personally experienced. There comes a time for whatever the reason one realizes that they need to alter their lifestyle and diet and give their body a break. That was precisely my conclusion just over a month ago. I have learned the hard way that I was ultimately responsible for everything that I put into my body. I was twenty nine years old robust and a rowdy kind of guy but that changed literally overnight when I began hemorrhaging. Awakened in the night with an urgent call to the restroom I laid it off to some excess of food or drink until an hour alter when I was up again. What I thought was Montezuma's revenge was actually internal bleeding of dozens and dozens of ulcerous lesions throughout my colon. After two weeks in the hospital I was diagnosed with Crohns Disease. I had two surgeries and eight hospitalizations that very first year. 1991 was not a great year for me. It was a terrible, painful, fearful and confusing time. I was taking a total of eight different prescription drugs. Some were even prescribed to deal with the debilitating side effects of others. Three years into the fun and games I decided that if I was going to be sick, that was one thing, but I was not going to kill myself off anymore with the debilitating side effects of these very intense drugs. So I flushed them down the toilet. The problem with drugs like prednisone you just do not decide to go cold turkey! I tell you this so that you do not make the same type of mistake. I was very fortunate but you may not be. That was the first of many of trail and errors in my pursuit to get some kind of control over my health and have a life. After some time I realized that I was getting my mental focus back and got some clarity. I began reading everything I could find about alternatives to chemically based medicines. My first great discovery and what was key in my recovery was juicing. I will never forget the day I brought home my first juicing machine. I chose Red Delicious apples for the inaugural run. Wow! It was a most pleasurable euphoric rush of energy and it changed my life. I have had many juice cleanses over the years and experimented with several different cleansing and detox methods. Some were very uncomfortable and invasive others had little if any noticeable effect. My latest cleanse started just over a month ago when I had realized that my body was sending me familiar signals. I got caught up with life and the occasional divergence from live to processed food began to be more prevalent and before I knew it I was feeling the effects. I realized that it was time to do a cleanse and get my lifestyle back in line but what was I going to do? The answer was right under my nose but I never put two and two together previously. I am an avid organic gardener. Life has made me passionate and somewhat opinionated about growing healthy food without chemicals and genetic engineering. Call it a personal quest or just at tremendous curiosity. So when I heard a friend talking one morning over breakfast about this pH structured water she was drinking, I could not help but think of how it would work with my plants. So this year I have been running an experiment with my organic tomatoes in raised beds, watered with two distinct pH levels (Acidic and Alkaline) and note the reactions. But what I found out in the course of this was that it was not tap water altered by vinegar or baking soda to control pH , but rather water that was structured by processing it through what is essentially a dialysis machine. Pretty cool huh? I had learned long ago that Hydrogen ions frequently become bound up in the soil. It blocks the absorption of nutrients into the root system of the plants until lime is added. This neutralizes one of the hydrogen ions and the whole natural process resumes the way it was designed. I have seen homeowners fertilize the daylights out of their lawns and can not figure out what the problem is. I ask them if they have checked the pH level and they give me a strange, distant kind of look so I just tell start liming their lawn and they will begin to notice a difference once the pH level comes into a neutral range. The inquisitive nature wondered what that might mean for my body but I never wrote it down. It was during this time that, being intensely absorbed in my work that I was not paying attention to the time or the thermometer and got dehydrated. Okay! I said, I'll start taking care of myself better for the thousandth time. I decided that I would try some of this new structured water with a pH level of 9.5. The first glass was nothing like I expected. I guess I thought it would feel tingly, after all it is processed with an electrical current, but it was actually very soft. I know, it sounds like a strange word to use to describe water, but it is the best I have come up with. The second thing I noticed was what I did not taste. There was nothing. No aftertaste of any kind, just wet, soft and very satisfying. Well I have officially ended my cleanse ritual but I am still drinking this structured ionized water. Having experienced the difference there is no way I will go back to bottled water again. Besides the obvious benefit of drinking absolutely the most purest water, I can not help but be intrigued at the long term effect of hydrating with water that exhibits anti-oxidant properties.
