We sometimes forget that our physical human body is really the foundation of our life and tend to take it for granted most of the time. With our weekend warrior attempts, our long periods of inactivity, not so good eating habits, and the late nights on the town all start to add up as the years pass by. When we are young our bodies work away faithfully rarely complaining but as the years slide by our buffer period gets used up. We often forget that our body should be a form of strength and a source of energy, vitality and joy elevating our life. It should not be an anchor or an obstacle limiting freedom and preventing us from our dreams and desires. We all have the goal to be 'healthy'. But that is a different goal from simply 'not been sick' which many people only aim for. To achieve 'real' vibrant 'jumping out of your skin' health you will need to aim higher than this. You will have to have to make some effort and invest some time each week into eating right along with a couple of proper exercise sessions that include strength training exercise to reach the level of true health rather than just ambling along hoping not to get sick. Health was once seen as the opposite of sickness and disease which means if you were ill or sick you were thought to be unhealthy, and if you were not sick you were considered to be healthy. But this is far from what real health means. To be truly healthy you need to be strong and fit which is something that does not happen by itself and you have to put some time and effort into it. Yet most people never experience this as it is estimated that 75 percent of the population is sedentary or classed as inactive. So many people are not experiencing real health but are merely going from day-to-day with reduced energy and vitality and little 'zest for life'. They feel tired, sluggish and are not really motivated to be active. Yet when you are fit it is very hard to sit and be inactive for long. Many people get to mid-life and consider themselves fortunate if they have been spared a major disease or health disaster So far so good they say with a sense of relief. But many other people experience all sorts of poor health conditions, arthritis, heart problems, diabetes, and high blood pressure and accept such conditions as normal or inescapable. This is a depressing situation. Surely, we can do way better than that. A proper strength training exercise program, high quality nutrition and a more positive mindset for lifetime good health is the number one requirement for giving disease and poor health the flick and replacing it with strength, energy and vitality. This is a much better option for getting the most out of our one and only life. Do you want to discover the secret to rejuvenating your body and improving the quality of your life?
