When you think about what you're going to put a sandwich in when you take it to work, do you really put much thought into it? Probably not because most people just look at it as a little plastic dish and that's all you need to know about it. The fact is that some of these containers are very simple and cheap, while others are quite smart and innovative. Business have spent a lot of money making pretty interesting kitchen storage containers that are much better than the competition and I thought I could talk to you about the one I think is the best. A name I'm starting to see more and more of is Fit & Fresh and they make some pretty interesting containers. We're not talking about a simple plastic box that fits for a sandwich. They make containers with multiple levels that leave you with a place to put your food, an area for you to place your utensils and an extra area where you can put a frozen ring of water, so it keeps your food cool. For a simple kitchen storage container it is really quite smart and innovative. Another popular one I see a lot is Rubbermaid. They're actually in a lot of different markets when it comes to plastic products. But I think they make pretty good kitchen storage containers that are simple, yet smart. They have some containers that are actually stain resistant. Generic containers run into permanent stains with certain foods and you can avoid that with Rubbermaid.
