If you are someone that likes to get the cheapest of cheap items that you can get than you might be interested in the SteamFast SF-717 Home-and-Away Mini Steam Iron. This is an iron that is actually worth buying but has an extremely cheap price tag. Typically you can find this item for under $30, which is extremely cheap when you compare it to other steam irons on the market. I thought what I could do for you is give you a little review on this cheap steam iron and show you why it would be a good thing to own. I must stress first that this is a mini steam iron, which makes it much smaller. It is designed to be used for traveling and things like that. You can still use it around your house, it's just something that is compact and gives you a little steaming time to work on some clothes. It boils the water with 420 watts of power, which actually isn't that bad for the size of the iron. It has a 1.4 ounce water tank, so 420 watts will heat it up in about 15 seconds. It's something that you can plug in and start using pretty fast. Some of the other important features of the SteamFast SF-717 is that it has the capabilities of dual voltages. Since this is a travel iron you may go to different countries that have different voltages running on their power grid. This just makes it a little more convenient. This is definitely something you'll want to own if you're looking for a cheap steam iron.
