I remember there was a time I did not apply for a certain job post in some organization just because I felt it was too big for me or I was not good enough, only to be informed later that they recruited someone with less academic qualifications than me. Sometimes in life all we need is to be confident about who we are and realize our potential. Doing something you are good at is one way of helping us feel more competent, accomplished and capable.
