Five Professions That Should Use Business Networking Events


 
Business
The internet is the new face of marketing. It is a wonderful way to increase sales, and get more customers. If you are in business and don't have a website presence you may be missing customers. However, there are five professions that should still use business networking and networking events in their business.

Real Estate

This is the ultimate in wheeling and dealing. You must meet people to show houses or property. You might get a lead online, but you will need to still talk to people. This is a profession that must talk to others. If you aren't get out and meeting new people then you won't be in business very long. Business networking events allow real estate agents, brokers, and loan officers the chance to meet other professionals for the hidden leads.

Solicitors

You will meet with people that need legal advice. Many business professionals might not have a regularly retained lawyer. This is where you can be of benefit. You can provide your service to those that might need to have representation for a court case, or simple advice on a contract. You should like talking with people and helping them asses their legal needs.

Insurance Agents

You can help others to insure their homes, cars, businesses and their families. They need to have a piece of mind in case something unfortunate should happen beyond their control. You will be the person that can help them choose what is best for their needs. If you own the insurance company you might even be able to offer health and life insurance to the employees of business owners at business networking events. If you can provide a savings or service that they don't currently have they will want to talk with you.

Marketing and Advertising

You can convey to other business owners and professionals what sales they are missing without your services. You can provide online and offline copy that will help to increase their sales. Everyone wants to grow their business. They will clamor for your services when you explain what you can do for them.

Sales

Anyone that is in the sales profession no matter what type needs to talk to as many people as possible. You can do this online, but many times people what to put a name with a face. They might not feel comfortable making a major purchase from someone that they haven't met. You can also get leads from those that are in attendance at business networking events.

All of these five professions would benefit from networking. There are others that can benefit as well. If you have a company and you aren't attending a business networking event then you are missing out on making new friends, interacting with others in your field, and finding out the pulse of the sales and business in your area. It is a gathering place where everyone supports each other and may even steer leads your way once they get to know you and what you offer. Can you afford not to attend?
