My aim in this short paper is to give depression and anxiety attack online advice, in the form of a definition, symptoms and advice.

Anxiety attacks are sometimes just referred to as anxiety fear. It is an intense feeling of fear or apprehension which is produced in an individual despite the absence of any real threat. This type of irrational fear can potentially affect any of us at any time. Such situations can produce severe levels of fear and apprehension that can result in a panic attack. Therefore, those people who suffer from this condition should seek proper and appropriate medical assistance as soon as the condition manifests. Correct diagnosis and proper treatment is essential, since if left untreated the condition can become potentially dangerous. One problem often encountered is that the person suffering from the anxiety attacks may have lost the ability to think and act in a logical and clear way. To a certain extent they lose connection with reality.

In order to deal with irrational fear and anxiety attacks, a person must recognize that he or she has a choice in the way they respond to this stimulus of fear. Knowing this will greatly alter and redefine the way you look at fear as a whole. Only in this way will you be able to gain power over your fear instead of being controlled by it. If you are unable to do this then fear will always finds a way to create negative impacts on your brain and will alter and the way you perceive things. Try to look at fear in a different light, so that it does not produce the same anxious feeling of apprehension and doom as it usually does to you.

Symptoms of Anxiety Fear

How do you know you are suffering from anxiety fear or anxiety attacks? It is vital to identify the symptoms of this condition, since only then can a proper diagnosis be made by a medical expert, so that steps can be taken to improve your condition. Here are common symptoms shared by people who suffer anxiety fear:

intense or profuse sweating feeling of nausea acute breathlessness uncontrollable shaking dry mouth and tongue heart palpitations loss of sense of reality inability to think clearly or focus for oneself

Some Treatment Options for Anxiety Fear

There are a large choice of treatments available that will help reduce the symptoms of anxiety fear or get rid of it altogether. The aim here is for you to be able to respond to situations logically instead of letting the fear consume every part of your consciousness. Here are some possible options to consider:

Hypnotherapy

The objective of this treatment is to reprogramme your subconscious mind, which is a contributor in creating all of those irrational fears. Once you have altered that programming in your brain, the symptoms should as a consequence be minimized. If you have any reluctance when it comes to the control of your brain programming, then you have to be assured that controlled hypnotherapy is a safe method. Before you know it, you have let go of some of the negative brain programmes that produce the high level of anxiety associated with your irrational fears.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming

This useful method will serve to interpret how you perceive your own idea of reality. From an analysis of your own thought processes, psychological professionals will suggest new ways in which you can create your perspective of the world you live in. This will help you get rid of any form of thoughts that produce anxiety fear.

Easy Exercises to Combat Fear

One of the best ways to combat the feeling of fear, depression and apprehension is to stop and take time to connect with your body. You can try following the steps suggested below:

Sit down quietly or lie down, in a darkened room while you keep your eyes shut.

In your minds eye, starting from your feet and working your way upwards, scan your body for sensations. Take time out to pause in each area of your body and give notice to the different sensations they undergo. Then, proceed to the center of your body around the abdomen area or around the navel. Then, breathe into it deeply.

Try doing this technique at least once a day if you can and you will notice you will start to feel relaxed after doing it. It will inevitably take some practice time for you to get used to this simple technique, but if you can stick at it then it will be worth it! Indeed, meditation has long been acknowledged as one of the most effective methods of self healing and you can do the same with anxiety fears.
