Blurred vision 2. Tingling or numbness in the hands or feet 3. Frequent infections 4. Cuts and bruises that are slow to heal 5. Recurring skin, gum, or bladder infections. Living with diabetes: Type 2 diabetes can be controlled through diet and exercise, but sometimes either oral medications or insulin must be used.
