The Indian and Pakistani expatriates who came to Saudi Arabia to work for coins also brought with them their respective cultural background and their creative tastes. The creativity or creative taste is never obsessed. It grows in each and every instant regardless of inhabit or exile. Creativity processes the joy and sorrow in its deep course and reproduces them out in different form of the Art. Creativity is some thing different with the happiness and joy. Of its own accord; creativity is an inside process which never abide by the external condition of the Artist. It always moves according to its own commandments. It often throw-outs the blockage of its ways. Poetry is the external pose and display of the inner creative process of a poet. “Poetry begins in delight and ends in wisdom” wrote T.S.Eliot the stalwart of the modern English literary criticism. Poetry comes out from the uncontrolled and uninhibited emotional flow of life. It designates love and it esteems to be in love. It uncovers the very core of the heart and strokes the nucleus of the human emotions. A concurrence for the great poetry is fond in the intellect of all human beings not considering between a Scientist, a Sociologist, a Behaviorist, a Ruler, a Politician, a Professional or a Killer. Among the Indian and Pakistani expatriates there are scores of poets who have crafted unique and attractive style of their poetry while working in Saudi Arabia and got published their creations in distinctive Urdu magazines in India and Pakistan. Some of them have their own websites. But very few of them have crossed the gratitude and are being recognized by the critics as well as by the readers. Tariq Batt’s name is observed as one of the influential reputes among the Pakistani expatriate Urdu poets in Saudi Arabia. To his credit he has published his two worthy poetic collections “Sada e Mausam e Gul” [The call of Springs] and “Badalti Rutoon Ki Hairat”.[ Wonders of the changing seasons] Big authors like Naseer Ahmed Naasir and Dr.Tauseef Tabassum of Pakistan has admired his poetic inceptions. “Tarique Butt’s poetry appears upon a foggy constructing skeptic optimistic way of life. It enlightens and notifies our hearts with the surprising change of the time.” Wrote; Dr. Naseer Ahmed Naasir while observing the significance of Tariq Batt”s poetry. He added: “It is a poetry which crosses over the stair ways of the dawn and dusk and speaks with the day and night. Tariq Batt is aware of the experiences with his words and of his poetic passions. I hope that he will be acknowledged rapidly the instant he will enter in the main stream.” Dr.Tauseef Tabssum a professor and poet of Urdu in Pakistan, articulates his idea on Tariq Batt’s poetry as follows: “ I was firstly introduced to Tariq Batt through Iqbal Ahmed Qamar in Saudi Arabia. His out look, his physique, and his simple way of talking was not an evidence to the beautiful poet kept back in his personality. This reality was unveiled when I caught a glimpse of his book “Badalti Rutoon Ki Hairat”. Tariq Batt’s poetry is a demonstration of how a water way emerges form a solid rock and then it irrigates its surroundings.” In my opinion the Tariq Batt’s poetry is a monologue of seasons which familiarizes us with the transforming flavor of time. Tariq Batt’s poetry offers effectiveness to the life and it twinkles in the darkness of human emotions. In its simple way of expression his poetry displays creative scenario which draws the sober and unexcited emotions of love; to the widespread playing fields of unhappiness and grief. Tariq Butt is being located in Saudi Arabia for a long time. So the feeling of being far- off from the home land is naturally put in to his heart, but through giving a positive response to this feeling he has turned it out in the direction of his self respect. He believes that an exile regardless of its types and variety is willingly or unwillingly some or more a compulsion imposed up on our selves. These compulsions inspire us to leave our mother land behind and adopt a self imposed exile. He says: SONE SE MAHO SAAL BIKE RIZQ KI KHATIR JO KAAM NAHIEN KARNA THA NACHAR KIYA HAI [The golden years of life has being vended for foodstuffs, the work which was not to be done, was got done unwillingly.] In another couplet he notes down: HAR LAMHA GHAR KO LAOT KE JANE KA BHI KHIYAL HAR LAMHA IS KHEYAL SE DIL KO HAZAR BHI HAI [Every moment I imagine returning back to my home and every moment I am worry about that.] Besides these, there are many other issues in Tariq Batt’s poetry which appear as excellence and magnetize our poetic tastes. In such characteristics of his poetry the struggle of life, the pleasant taste of re-shaping the life, the dialogue with the sorrow of life, the ups and downs of emotions, the feeling of attachment with village, the sufferings of exile, love with others, love with sadness, feeling of loneliness, attachment with life, call for struggle, thankfulness on at hand, deep pain for the National and International changes, are subject matters which bring wide significant in his poetry. Among the contemporary poets and poetess in Saudi Arabia such as Naseem e Sahar, Haneef Tareen, Rashid Fazli, , Iqbal Qamar, Zain Siddiqi, Tariq Mahmood,Abrar Mujeeb, Iqbal Talib, Naaz Muzaffarabadi, Suhail Saqib, Qamar Hieder Qamer, Farhat Perveen, Azra Naqvi,, Qudsiya Nadeem lali, Farah Jafri Jawaid Akhtar, and Sayeed Muntazir, he has an imperative image and a high repute.
