Graduation Speeches should motivate for success. That is not to say that every speaker should mention money as being important to success because success comes in many different guises. What it does mean is that speakers should urge graduates to be the best they can be. It should urge them to be givers to society because it is in giving that they will eventually receive. Certainly any students whether they be hairdressers or beauticians who receive a diploma or certificate are entitled to have a graduation ceremony and quite often schools or colleges arrange that. For all of those who have completed a course of studies receiving their certificates is an important occasion. Equally important is what is said to them on that day. They should be helped to feel good about themselves. Graduation Speeches should encourage them to consider options whether by travelling or studying more. They should feel that they are now achievers and that there is plenty more that they can achieve. The speaker who opens their eyes to opportunities is a successful speaker.
